The Internet Folk Radio List is a free database of folk, singer-songwriter, and acoustic radio programs. Most of the programs are in North America, but listings throughout the world are welcome.
TIFRL began life as a text file containing a few dozen programs. It was subsequently turned into a genuine database and has grown to include 575 listings. The core data were compiled by Jeremy Butler and the staff of All Things Acoustic. They've been augmented by singer-songwriter Diane Zeigler and updated by many hosts, program directors, and folk-radio enthusiasts.
TIFRL may be browsed or searched here online or it may be downloaded in tab-delimited format (suitable for importing into spreadsheet and database programs). Please see our privacy statement regarding the use of TIFRL data.
TIFRL has always been available for free, with the proviso that it may not be duplicated and sold. In 2005 we formalized this by publishing it under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 License.

There are a couple of related resources out there, both of which link to stations and program descriptions, and list when programs air. The main difference from TIFRL is that these resources are not provided in downloadable formats.
The Internet Folk Radio List is maintained by the staff of All Things Acoustic, at Alabama Public Radio.
